Go Labyrintotomy

Labyrintotomy is the operation of opening the semicircular canals of the labyrinth of the ear with purulent inflammations of the inner ear in order to drain the pus and stop the infection from entering the cranial cavity. After the operation, strict bed rest is established and antibiotics and dehydration therapy are prescribed (according to the patient's condition) in the form of intravenous infusions of 40% glucose solution and intramuscular infusions of 25% magnesium sulfate solution 20 ml each.
