Tannin (Tanninum) is a halodilic acid, an astringent. Tannin is used for rinsing in inflammatory processes in the mouth, nose, throat, larynx (1-2% aqueous or glycerol solution) and lubrication (5-10% ointment) for burns, ulcers, cracks, bedsores (3-5-10 % ointment and solutions), for washing the stomach in case of poisoning with salts of alkaloids and heavy metals (0.5% aqueous solution). Form release of tannin: powder. Store in tightly sealed jars in a dry place.
