Tomofluorography is an x-ray method that combines tomography (see) and fluorography (see). Tomofluorography is performed using a special apparatus - tomofluorograph, which is also suitable for the production of tomograms. The size of tomofluorogram is small, only 24X 36 mm, which does not allow to reveal many details. Therefore, tomofluorography, given its availability and cheapness, is used as an indicative study. After reviewing a series of tomofluorograms, they select the layers most important for diagnosis, and at these levels they produce tomograms. Tomofluorography using a 10X 10 cm frame (large frame) has great potential and in some cases can replace tomography.
