Trimetin (Trimethinum; list B ) is an anti-epileptic agent. Assign inside during or after eating 0.2-0.3 g 2-3 times a day. Treatment is carried out in courses of 3-5 months. Higher doses inside: single 0.4 g daily 1.2 g. Side effects: photophobia , skin rash, changes in blood (neutropenia, agranulocytosis, anemia, eosinophilia ). During treatment with trimetin at least once every 10 days should be a blood test. Trimetin is contraindicated in disorders of the liver and kidneys, diseases of the blood-forming organs and the optic nerve. Form release: tablets of 0.1 g. See also Anticonvulsants .
