Devincan (Devincan) is an antihypertensive agent, a drug of alkaloid vincamine, isolated from the plant of periwinkle. It also has a calming effect on the central nervous system. Devincan is used for hypertensive disease , hypertensive crises, neurogenic tachycardia by 0.005–0.01 g, starting from 2–3 times, and then 3-4 times a day. The treatment lasts several weeks with a constant decrease in dose. Intramuscularly devincan is administered only in a hospital.
