Dichlorophen (Dichlorophenum; List B ) is an antihelminthic. Used in combination with fenasalom (see) for the treatment of invasions unaided with a chain and a wide tapeworm. Against the background of the diet, 2 g of dichlorophene and 4 g of fenasal (for 1 administration) are prescribed, after having dissolved both powders in a glass of hot water. Before taking the drug, a patient is given 1/2 teaspoonful of sodium bicarbonate, after ingestion - 1/4 cup of water. The treatment may experience discomfort in the stomach, diarrhea , headache, urticaria. Contraindicated in diseases of the liver and kidneys. Form release: specially powdered powder in a mixture (1: 1) with powdered sugar. Keep in a dry place. See also Antihelminthicides .
