Diprazin (Diprazinum; synonym: pipolfen, Promethazini hydrochlo-ridum; list B ) is an anti-histamine agent. It has a sedative effect. Diprazine is used mainly in the treatment of allergic diseases ( hay fever , etc.), with vasomotor rhinitis , pruritic dermatoses , drug allergies, with rheumatism with a pronounced allergic component, with sea and air sickness . Assign diprazin inside (after eating) at 0.025 g 2-3 times a day, intramuscularly at 1-2 ml of a 2.5% solution. Higher doses for adults: one-time - 0.05 g, daily - 0.15 g. It should not be prescribed to drivers of transport during work. Available in powder, tablets of 0.025 g and 1 ml ampoules of 2.5% and 5 ml of 0.5% solution.
