Dysphonia - a violation of vocal function. Dysphonia occurs in diseases of the larynx, when the glottis during phonation does not close completely (see Larynx, larynx tumors; Laryngitis ). Dysphonia can be of varying degrees: from mild hoarseness to complete aphonia (see). The causes of dysphonia are determined by laryngoscopy (see). Treatment of dysphonia is aimed at eliminating the causes of it.
