Skin dystrophy

Dystrophy of the skin is a process caused by degenerative changes, close to the skin atrophy (see). The skin loses its normal turgor , becomes sluggish, dry. Dystrophy of the skin can be congenital (it is often combined with dystrophic changes in nails and hair) and acquired, in particular as a result of endocrine disorders, the action of exogenous factors (sun rays, etc.), etc.
