First aid

The textbook outlines the general concepts and basic provisions of first aid for a wide variety of accidents and sudden diseases. The issues of asepsis and antiseptics are covered. Details sets out the methods of first aid for bleeding, electrical injuries, poisoning and strangulation, heat and sunstroke. In this edition in a separate chapter highlighted the basics of resuscitation. The textbook is written in accordance with the program approved by the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation, and is intended for students of medical assistant, laboratory and dental departments of medical schools.

This textbook due to changes in the curriculum has undergone significant processing. In addition, new sections are included and sections that are not included in the study program are omitted. For greater clarity, the new drawings and diagrams.

The textbook outlines the principles of first aid, adopted in our country, and the task of rendering first aid in case of accidents and sudden diseases. A description of the signs of life and death of the victims is also given.

The textbook can be divided into two parts: the first part includes general issues (antiseptic, asepsis, desmurgy), first aid principles, basics of resuscitation, transportation of injured and suddenly ill; the second is first aid for injuries, burns, frostbite, bleeding, electrical injury, drowning, poisoning, childbirth, etc.
